Paul was born in Newton and went to school in Ohio to “get away” for a while. He has been active member of the community. Past president of the Hyde Park Rotary Club. Member of the Hyde Park Main Streets. Board member of the Riverside Theater Group.
Dr. Groipen is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Endodontic Society.
For fun, Paul likes to travel, attempt tennis, some exercise, and dabble in some foreign language. He has acted in the Animus Ensemble Company and is currently on their board of directors. Needless to say he goes to too many plays.
