Dentures

After losing any tooth, a partial denture can be made. This is a removeable appliance which replaces a 'partial' number of existing teeth. A 'complete' denture, is one which completely replaces all of the natural teeth. A denture is a term meant for any removeable appliance. These should be taken out at night to let the gum tissue rest and receive oxygen. These dentures should be checked periodically, because they need adjustments and/or relines.
